What it is and what it does. OP-10 is the non-ionic emulsifier (nonylphenol ethoxylate) used in cleaning formulations, in emulsifiable oils and in the wetting systems of pickling and plating baths.
- Colourless to pale yellow viscous liquid; the cloud point of 55-65 C makes it useful in warm cleaning baths.
- Excellent emulsifier for oils and waxes and compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants.
- Nonylphenol ethoxylates are restricted in some markets - confirm the destination regulations before specifying it.
