What it is and what it does. Aluminium degreasing powder QLQ-207C is the silicate-free alkaline cleaner formulated for aluminium and its alloys, used to remove oils and shop soil without etching or darkening the surface.
- White to off-white powder; silicate-free, so no silicate film is left to interfere with subsequent plating or anodising.
- Formulated with a controlled alkalinity so that aluminium is cleaned without the attack that a steel cleaner would cause.
- The standard choice before anodising, chromating or zincate treatment of aluminium parts.
