What it is and what it does. Zipper lacquer additive QLQ-206A is component A of the QLQ-206 additive pair, used to adjust the flow, the levelling and the adhesion of the slider lacquer.
- Colourless to pale yellow clear liquid, dosed in small amounts into the lacquer.
- Controls the wetting of the lacquer on the metal, which is what prevents pinholes and orange-peel defects.
- Used together with QLQ-206B, which controls the surface slip and the drying behaviour.
