What it is and what it does. Curing agent (hardener) is the cross-linking component added to two-component lacquers and paints so that the film cures to a hard, chemically resistant coating.
- Colourless to pale yellow clear liquid, dosed precisely against the resin component.
- The mixed product has a limited pot life, so it is mixed in the quantity that will be used in one shift.
- Moisture in the air reacts with the hardener, which is why the container must be resealed immediately.
