What it is and what it does. Steel degreasing powder is the powdered alkaline cleaner used for soak and electro-cleaning of steel hardware before pickling and plating.
- White to off-white powder; normally used at 20-50 g/L in water.
- The blend of alkali builders, surfactants and chelating agents saponifies oils and lifts shop soil from the surface.
- Powder is cheaper to freight than the liquid concentrate, which is why most export customers order the powder.
