What it is and what it does. The nickel-free main brightener is the principal brightening additive of the nickel-free bright plating system, used where the finished hardware must satisfy nickel-release restrictions.
- Pale yellow to amber clear liquid, dosed on the ampere-hour reading.
- The system deliberately contains no nickel, so the deposited layer does not raise the nickel-release value of the part.
- Balanced with the nickel-free carrier and the additive, all three of which must be dosed as a set.
