What it is and what it does. Antique bronze solution QLQ-40C is component C of the QLQ-40 antiquing system, used to fine-tune the tone and the rate of the antique colour on copper-tin deposits.
- Pale blue to colourless clear liquid, added in small amounts to adjust the working bath.
- Used where a three-component system gives finer control of the final colour than a two-part system.
- Dosed against the colour of the working bath rather than a chemical analysis, so keep a master sample.
